The healthy sleep group mattress cleaning system is a tried and tested design specially developed for mattress, duvet, pillows, furniture and carpet cleaning. There are other systems on the market but we feel confident in our system that our Premier package comes with a 5-year guarantee. Reliability is essential for any business and the equipment we supply has a history of operating for over ten years without a major fault.
One of the crucial parts of the system is the germicidal UV-C unit. It must generate 2540 Angstroms of UVC essential to kill the bacteria listed by the Germicidal lamp manufacturers. To achieve this, UV units must have a minimum of 2 Germicidal lamps fed by 240 volt supply. Our unit also incorporates an etched aluminium reflector to ensure the maximum amount of light is directed onto the surface of the mattress. Some other systems use a single lamp fed by only 9 volts and no reflector. In our experience this cannot produce the required output of UVC.
Safety is of the utmost importance so we use a strong and resilient fibre glass body to ensure total safety from the electrical components housed in the unit. The other advantage of fibre glass over metal is the reduced weight something worth considering as most mattresses are found upstairs!
All the machines are assembled, PAT tested and CE marked in the UK. Our systems apart from being incredibly reliable are very simple to operate, with running costs being exceptionally low. For routine servicing this can be carried out at the Healthy Sleep Groups UK approved repair centre. In the unlikely event that you will be without your machine a replacement can be provided.
